How is the duration between two times calculated?
This tool subtracts the start time from the end time and gives you the difference in hours and minutes. If the end time is earlier than the start time (meaning the duration crosses into the next day, like an overnight shift from 10 PM to 6 AM), the calculation handles this automatically.
